 It is Illegal to download music from torrent sites, downloading illegal music is now illegal and if caught could lead to a possible conviction and a staggering fine. People caught downloading music illegally can be fined up to £3000.

Ninety five percent of music downloaded online is illegal! Under The copyright, Designs and patents Act 1988 as amended by the copyright and trademarks act 2002. This law makes it legal to convict illegal music down loader’s.

  

The pros for downloading music illegally is that you can get and listen to your favourite songs for free, the cons are the artist wont be able to make there money for the song and also the record labels would loose income and profit.

Dear MP

I am writing this email to launch an attack on the very controversial Rupert Murdock, who is currently attempting to take of the BSkyB network as I feel he is not suitable to run this company and simply should not be allowed to own a new/media corporation, which have over ¾ of the world’s population. The reason why I feel not only Rupert Murdock but any one person to own and be in charge of so much of the worlds media and news is because the world will be getting the news that he feels is necessary for the world to see and hear about. Also haven’t we seen what sort of person this man is, I am referring to the news of the world phone hacking scandal. Being able to hack a Milley Dowlers phone, deleting messages and also listening to phone calls and by giving this poor girls family false hope that there child is still alive is disgusting and he should be in prison in my opinion. He also breached privacy laws such as the data protection act 1998, by breaching this law surely he himself should be punished and not just the newspaper business he was running (News Of The World). So I believe by allowing Rupert Murdock to own all of BSkyB is just a huge mistake and just asking for more controversial stories such as the Milley Dowler phone hacking to reoccur but the next time it could be worse. Lets talk about moi

My name is Daniel Casey I am 19 years old and I live in London, Kensal Rise. I support Chelsea Football club and try my hardest to go see live matches but its very expensive so i cant really afford to go to as much games as id like to.

I also enjoy playing football when I get the chance my friends are very lazy so the chance of going to play football in the park with them is very slim. I also like to keep fit by occasionally going to gym with friends and working out at home.

I have spanish in my blood so obviously i  love spanish food, when the sun come out so does the BBQ love that food!. paella is my favourate spanish dish. i also like spanish music.

Im currently studying and attending at the City of Westminster college and the course is called media level 3 btec national diploma which would be equivalent to 3 a levels. I really enjoy studying media because of all the practical work filming, editing and using different equipment.





 I have also made numerous videos for my course this is one of my favourites, this is a music video i done with the help and acting of my friends. i have allot more videos on my youtube account, my youtube channel is dannycasey1 check some out. this is just a preview of some of the work i have done.

I like a huge variety of different music Uk grime, Rap, Reggaeton and anything really, i dont really enjoy a particular style of music if i hear a song and i like it then i will download it and listen to it. heres an example of the sort of music i enjoy listening to. one of my favourate artists is Tupac.

I enjoy watching english based movies, and the person who i find inspiring makes most of my favourite films he's called guy Richie he is married to Madonna, he's also famous for making such films as Lock stock and two smoking barrels, Snatch, Layer cake and rock n roller. they are quite violent movies but are also very funny, my favourite movie off all time has to be the Godfather. SKILLS

I have vast experience in IT as I done ICT from years 7 to 11, then used computers to do course work for my business National Diploma for 2 years and now I am currently using apple Mac to make and edit footage for my YouTube channel and for college work. So all together I have used IT in the last 14 years of my life. I am also currently taking driving lessons preparing for my practical; I have already got my provisional licence and passed my theory with 100% score in the exam. I have also created and opened a business as a business btec project when I was in year 13 where myself and partners has to run the business successfully, invest money into making a project and tried to make a healthy profit from it, we went to numerous events which where hosted in the likes of the Brent town hall and dutecher bank inner London where we won awards for most invocative product and best achievement awards, these trophies were displayed in the schools cabinet. So I also have the skills to open up and retain a successful business.

EMPLOYMENT:

I have worked for family members such as babysitting my aunties child and also more serious work for my uncle where I done my two week work experience in Greenford and co building company where I worked on numerous houses and flats in that two weeks learning how to plaster, tile and carpentry I was also used as a labourer. After work experience I stayed on for a couple more years with my uncle working in place like the isle of white plastering and tiling. I have also done work for a charity whilst I was in my second year of college where I had to raise money for the charity by winning a competition against others from my school and others in Brent.

MEDIA RELATED EXPERIENCE:

I have both filmed and edited a contemporary dance routine which was not part of my college course, and it was used in the colleges assembly to promote the up coming Olympic dance competition it was voluntary work and there fore unpaid but I feel I gained good working experience from that.

INTERESTS AND ACHIEVEMENTS

I’m pretty proud off the awards I won for my young enterprise business where my team scooped two awards from two separate competitions most invocative idea and best achievement award, I also received an award from my local church for saving my fathers life, when he was going into a comer due to low sugar levels I called the ambulance at the age of 7. I also received a C on my Drama performance, which I am also very proud of. I enjoy taking pictures and editing them for people to see and comment on instagram and also I enjoy filming new footage and editing them to make the footage look how I want it to makes me feel like I have achieved something. I enjoy watching football and playing it. I ust to be the first team sticker for my year 10, 11, 12 and 13 football team unfortunately we won no trophies for football.

I believe I am the perfect candidate for any job I apply for because I am 100% devoted to getting my work done to the best of my ability and I enjoy working and love having the feeling of success and accomplishment, I enjoy enduring new challenges and accomplishing them with maximum effort. I have always been a very hard worker during primary, secondary and college and have achieved good grades to prove my devotion to my work.
