Preparing for edit

open your fcp project then click cmd b to create a bin, label the bin and drag your files into it. here is an example i have done with still images, you can also right click and select new bin.

when you have created about three bins and labelled them under stills, videos and audio your files should be orginised and easy to find and look like this. 

you can also arrange the tabs which are linked to the images, audio, or video to make it easier to find specific pieces of work. you can easily customise labels etc by clicking and labeling them again you can also move tabs forward and backward to have an order which suits you. 

you can label the clip by clicking on log note and writing what the video, image or audio is of.
